"Transitions" is a collection of pictures that capture something of the changes that have occurred in Ireland over the last 30 or 40 years. By definition, this gallery is a work in progress - with pictures being added regularly (usually when I have added a post to my other site - http://www.johnsmyth.ie/blog.

The effect in this picture was created by taking two identically composed pictures (using a tripod to fix the camera position). One picture was a standard colour image, and the other was an infrared image. I merged the two together in Photoshop.
